I've been using AS for a long long time without issues but...
I recently paid for 3 more years but when I tried to download the program, the banner is still there and won't go away.
During the down load I get an error message referring to this file: C:windows\msctfime.ime
Support has told me to reinstall AS and I've done that 6 times! They've told me to use my old account: Done that 5 times.
I've also updated a fresh install of XP and my computer is running fine.
Now it's beginning to appear as if the Tech support guys don't even read the previous messages, because they keep telling me the same things! At this point I've been going back and forth with AS support for a MONTH with no answers.
Whats a solution to these issues? How do I get rid of that "Buy Me" banner? How do I get a refund? I used to love auction sentry but now I'm beginning to HATE IT!!
Thanks,
Ken Whitehawk

Not much we can do here in the self-help forum, I suspect.
As I recall, some problem related to msctfime.ime have been previously reported - but several weeks ago, Auction Sentry "lost" a lot of history in this support forum. So, you can't search for it.
I reported that similar problem in support case #188101 on 8/10/2009

I have heard nothing since. I know that doesn't help you a bit.

However, all users have reported that the software ran correctly after getting that error. I am going to forward both of those issues to our engineers and I will contact you with any info that I get back from them on these issues.

If support can't fix the problem for you (a month seems like more than a reasonable amount of time for them to fix it) then I'd demand a refund. If one is not given I'd issue a charge-back (assuming you used a credit card). If you paid straight from your PayPal account then I'd open a dispute through PayPal asking for my money back. Then I'd go find another better-supported product. We can't recommend other products here but there are better supported sniping programs out there.

Hello Kenny,
I am sorry to hear of your difficulties. I wanted to see if there was anything from your support cases that might shed some light on your issue but I cannot find any that are associated with your e-mail address.
That being said, if you are unable to activate our software, for any reason, we will be more than happy to refund your recent payment. You can use your existing support case or file a new support case to do so.
Sincerely,
Todd K.
